A Vacation Home - My Latest Project

This is one of my favourite projects - a vacation home, situated just above the beach. You can see the sea from the windows:

Interior design project - apartment for renting

This is an apartament that a foreign couple asked me to furnish for renting. It was bought before the construction and we found that there were a lot of details to be finished off before beginning the real interior design, including floor levelling, replastering of walls and ceilings, changing electricity, pipiing, etc. So I did this with the help of a construction company that I usually work with and then suggested my designer solutions to the owners. We had to coordinate all the work through internet mainly. Since they considered that the renters will probably bring their own furniture, I was asked to design only the kitchen, bathroooms, wallk-in dressing room and a small wet-room; as well as all the flooring, painting, wallpapers, lighting, curtains and wardrobes in the bedrooms.

Bathroom - almost finished. Cupboards hiding boiler and cosmetics are my design.

The project for the entrance - tiles at the door, continuing in the walk-in wardrobe to the left, and wooden floor allover except in the kitchen, bathrooms and wet-room.

Simple, elegant design with limited budget, but with beautiful designer tiles, decoration and accessories. The colour of the sink is aqua and that makes the white wall tiles look different. As you can see, we have combined old ceramic hooks and a shelve with modern metallic accessories  from a limited designer series. More textile and a wooden cupboard will be added soon. The owner likes antiques and we have used her old brass rod for the shower curtain (which is still to be bought). Although it is a different style from the other metallic accessories, it matches the floor tiles with their subtle stripes of warm brown and grey which echoes in the decorative wall tiles.

Както вероятно сте забелязали, някои от аксесоарите, а и самата вана от старата баня на собственичката са използвани отново, защото са напълно запазени и внасят уникалност в проекта, освен че намаляват бюджета. А плочките са дизайнерска серия - както на стените, така и на пода.
